Technology is our tool.
Craft is our approach.
We're a partnership of makers and technologists with over a century of collective know-how — building software, electronics, and physical things that simply work.

Most firms specialize. We work across software, electronics, and physical fabrication because the problems we find most interesting don't respect those boundaries — and neither do we.
From code to physical builds, our work is straightforward — no unnecessary complexity, just reliable results. We take on a small number of projects each year where the fit is right and the work is genuinely interesting.
Our work doesn't stop at the screen. We've designed and built homes and custom vehicles, developed specialized electronics, and patented our solutions along the way.
What we actually do.
We work across disciplines — software, electronics, and fabrication — because that's where the interesting problems live.
Software & Systems
From embedded firmware to full-stack applications, we build software that does exactly what it should — reliably, maintainably, and without unnecessary ceremony. We've been at it long enough to have strong opinions about what works.
Electronics & Hardware
Custom electronics design from the ground up — embedded systems, breakout boards, control systems, and patented solutions. We understand the full stack from the datasheet to the enclosure.
CNC & Physical Builds
Precision CNC routing, plasma cutting, custom fabrication, and builds that cross disciplines — we design and cut our own mounting hardware, and we've built homes with the same approach we bring to circuit boards.
We improve the machines
that make the things
we make.
When the stock controller on our CNC router couldn't keep up, we replaced its brain — upgrading from an 8-bit legacy system to a 600 MHz ARM platform, designing custom plasma-cut mounting hardware, and open-sourcing the entire process.

Let's solve something.
We take on a handful of projects at a time and choose them carefully. If you think there's a fit, tell us what you're working on.
